Straight-through processing of security handling orders

Mizuho Trust & Banking Luxembourg required an integrated IT platform to automate order processes and internal administration. The infrastructure needed to provide for straight-through processing (STP) of security handling orders. The company also wanted to improve both internal and external reporting. A key objective of these enhancements was to increase staff productivity while reducing the risk of errors.

Callataÿ & Wouters delivered a solution that answered each of these requirements. The implemented system is based on the THALER banking engine, equipped with the necessary interfaces to handle most of corporate actions, as well as custody and securities agency functions. The supplementary TERAN business intelligence software enables clearer reporting. Callataÿ & Wouters’ expertise ensured that the project was a complete success.
